AI - A Critique
In this Q&A, Chris and Freddie will critique the fervor over AI. What’s hype? What’s real? Is this more a reflection that we are not living in a time of technological progress compared to the past? They’ll discuss the media’s coverage of AI, the collective reaction to it, and how we may want to think about its more practical implications.

What Goes Around Comes Around
In a creative world exploding with rapidly shifting trends, drawing inspiration from the past can be an unexpected superpower for designers looking to create unique and timely work. Graphic designer and archivist Elizabeth Goodspeed will discuss the limitations of contemporary moodboards, provide examples of how designers (past and present) have been inspired by historic ephemera, and share insights into how she has personally incorporated archival content into her work as a designer and writer. We’ll close with some practical tips on how designers can begin to explore and engage with the past themselves.
